Outbreak…continued.

Many of you have asked how Jake was doing, so I thought I’d share a quick update. Today his fevers were still high, up to 104 in the morning, but spiked to 102-103 during the rest of the morning and afternoon. He seemed to be a little better between those spikes, and rested well when he hit a low of 100.4, the lowest since Sunday. He also sat at his desk and painted today which was good to see him out of bed. Bad news is the poor kid is apparently traumatized by his illness (he really hates puking) and possibly hallucinating based on his portrayal of the events that happened this past Monday.

Thanks for all your comments and emails, he’s hanging in there. I’m hoping if he follows the same pattern that Joey did last week, he should be feeling better by Friday and like a human again by Saturday. Keep sending us good vibes and some healthy ones too for Cecilia. She’s hard enough to please when she’s well!
