Three uncooperative but otherwise merry kids – Check.
Christmas outfits – check.
Camera – Check.
Cookies & milk to bribe the kids to be good (and wine and wine for me as a reward) for afterwards – Check.
Hurray! It’s finally here! Tomorrow is Christmas Card Picture taking day!
We all love it so damn much that it almost hurts. This picture of Jake in 2008 just about says it all…
This never ends well, but I try to just roll with it. I just put the best – or the worst – of whatever I manage to capture onto a card and mail them out to my family and friends.
I consider it providing an accurate portrayal of our general daily merriment.
Three calm, peaceful children sitting nicely in their Christmas attire would be a total lie anyway.
If you want to see some of the shots I’ve captured over the years, check out this quick video set to a holiday tune:
Do you make photo cards every year? How to you capture your best holiday shots? Have any horror stories? Leave me a comment and let me know! Oh, and wish me luck tomorrow! I’ll need it…
