I hope that I don’t come off as boastful in this post, but I wanted to share a recent accomplishment with you.
Many people resolve to lose weight as part of their annual New Year’s resolutions. Well, I didn’t resolve to slim down, or technically, to do anything else, but I’ve trimmed down quite a bit since the first of the year.
Yes, that’s right, we’re only twelve days in to 2013, and I’m feeling lean!
How you ask?
Well, I have no idea. I’ve been sticking to what I know and love, my wine and carb diet, but for some reason that which had previously caused me to pack on the pounds, has now become fat-burning fuel.
Let me give you some examples of a typical day’s food before I show off my results:
Day 1 (Sample)
Coffee with cream and sugar (1-13 cups depending on sleep, or lack thereof, from the previous night)
Handful of (chocolate covered) Raisins and/or Cocktail Peanuts – repeat 6-12 times
Yogurt (aka pudding)
BLT (heavy on the B)
French Fries or Loaded Baked Potato (cheese, sour cream, butter and bacon bits)
Apple Slices – Just Kidding!
Frozen Pound Cake (hidden in freezer)
Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, topped with (heaping piles of ) Parm Cheese
Chocolate (in the form of M&M’s, Bar, Pudding, Milkshake, or Ice Cream)
I can hardly believe the dramatic difference in my appearance this year, in just 12 days, by eating just about whatever I wanted!
