This week my five year old started throwing up the minute my husband was boarding a plane for a business trip.
Poor kid had a solid 22 hours of persistent puking that then came back 36 hours after he finally stopped. He spent most of the week in front of the toilet or in bed, and I spent most of the week trying to keep him quarantined, doing the regular stuff with the other two kids, sanitizing common surfaces and doing laundry – lots, and lots and lots of laundry.
So how the hell am I out of pants?
I guess it’s because I was washing sheets and comforters, favorite stuffed animals and blankets, towels and contaminated clothes.
After four days of feeling bad, Jake is finally feeling better, my house is so clean you could perform surgery, and I guess I’ll be spending most of today (and tomorrow) catching up on the regular stuff…let’s hope I don’t get any unannounced visitors – this is what will greet them:
