I’m ready for Fall.
This morning the air was crisp, and as I sipped my coffee, somehow it just tasted better.
No, it didn’t taste better because it was a pumpkin latte – I might be the only person who doesn’t drink those -which many people find odd, but I also don’t drink hot tea, iced tea, oh and I’ve also never ever eaten meatloaf either. Not even once.
As I was saying, the cooler air seems to make the coffee simply taste better.
I’m also ready for big comfy sweaters, and I can’t wait to trade my sandals for my boots.
While I’m swapping clothes, you can expect my capri yoga pants to make way for my…full length yoga pants.
Last year I think I included my kids starting back to school in a similar post on why I love Fall, but since my kids all had a bad colds week 2 of school followed by my 6yr old coming home today with a fever of 105 (trip to the pediatrician ruled out strep and his lungs are clear so it looks like this is a new viral(?) bug), so I’m not including it this year. I can’t believe it’s week 4 and we’re already doing sick days.
But there was something else from that list that carried over from last year.
As I picked out my outfit before my shower, I couldn’t help but smile to myself as I laid out my long pants and ran my hands all the way down the denim leg.
Moments later, as I stepped into the shower, I knew today it would be a little shorter.
After all, this is time of year to say goodbye… to my razor.
How do you feel about Fall? Are you one of those pumpkin latte lovers? Leave me a comment and let me know! I love to hear from you!
