It’s February and “Luv” is in the air!
Luvs knows that parenthood can be a roller coaster ride, but that experienced parents take it all in stride. They know we value the things that help us get through the day and that make our lives a little bit easier – from a best mom friend who always has their back to great products that get the job done and don’t break the bank (like Luvs diapers).
So in the spirit of February, Luvs asked me to choose a deserving parent who would love a little spoiling.  I choose my younger sister, Cathy, who is a great Mom to an adorable and very rambunctious little girl on the brink of toddlerhood.
As Cathy’s big sister, and also an experienced Mom, I had some fun ideas for a gift basket full of items that I knew she’d love (and that might just make her day a little easier).
For a more traditional Valentine’s Day gift, I started the basket with something every mom enjoys – some spa time! Let’s be real, we Moms would enjoy a trip to the bathroom alone, so I know she’ll be excited to have a Spa Finder Gift Card! Â She’ll be able to enjoy some me time and some pampering which she totally deserves.
Next up, I threw in some of my favorite cosmetics. There’s some great eye shadow and blush, a few pretty lip shades, some face moisturizer, mascara, eye make up remover (so she can tell if those are child-induced dark circles or just make up), concealer, and some Happy fragrance. I think my sister is gorgeous, but being a Mom can take a toll on a girl. If I leave the house without concealer or mascara, I spend the day explaining to people that I don’t have the flu and that I’ve just been a mother for 11 years. Â These are all small and they came with a cute mini tote she can toss in the diaper bag or her work bag, so she can look and feel her best in the morning.
Next up, I added a book. Â Now, I know what you’re thinking, “Your sister has an almost two year old, what business does she have reading something that’s not a board book?” Â You’re right, between work and home life, my sister’s schedule is pretty packed. I’m not sure she enjoys too much free time or pleasure reading outside of Dr. Seuss or Eric Carle. That’s why this is not any ordinary book:
Like I said, I’m an experienced Mom…and also one who hates sharing candy! Â Hopefully, this hollowed out book will keep her stash a secret for years to come!
Next up was two very differently scented lotions and body wash because let’s face it, we Moms have two speeds: Sleep and Go, Go, Go!  Along with a cup of luke warm coffee (if she’s lucky), maybe this Energy soap and lotion will help get her going in the mornings. Then hopefully she’ll be able to find the time at the end of the day for a nice long, hot shower or relaxing bubble bath (doubtful, but it sounds nice doesn’t it, Cathy?). At the very least let’s hope she can find the time for a quick rinse with a soap that (along with her busy days), will have her ready for a good night’s sleep.
Of course with a little one at home, Cathy, and all the other Moms out there know, it take a lot more than soap to give you a good night’s rest.  But that’s why I also included Luvs Ultra Leakguard Diapers with NightLock Plus,™ which by the way are softer and more absorbent than before, in her gift basket. Cathy’s daughter will stay warm, dry and asleep because Luvs Ultra Leakguard Diapers with NightLock Plus™ have large stretch tabs for easy fastening and ultra-leakage protection. Cathy might rest easier knowing they also carry a money-back guarantee, and it’s great to know that Luvs provides these features babies and parents need for less cost than premium brands.
As the official diaper of experienced parents, Luvs is always committed to providing moms and dads with value which is one of the reasons I always chose Luvs for my three kids. They recognize that parenting can be difficult, so diapering shouldn’t be. Want to see for yourself? Everyone can share in the Luv with a $1 print-at-home coupon.
