One of my favorite parts about this time of year is the food. The turkey and the stuffing, the mashed potatoes and the gravy, and don’t forget the pie and ice cream. A few years ago my family set off to a family reunion in Vermont, luckily for me, they don’t live too far from Ben & Jerry’s. One of our sight seeing tours while we were in Vermont was the Ben & Jerry’s Factory. I must say if you are in the area you have to check them out. At the end of the tour you are given samples to taste. We sampled American Pie. Oh My Gosh, it was delightful. American pie is their classic vanilla ice cream with chuncks of apple pie swirled into it. I have never been able to find it on any store shelves and any competitors just haven’t been as good. Besides American Pie, I love their Cookie Dough and the half Cookie Dough half Brownie bites, oh, and New Yourk Super Fudge Chunck is awesome. Who am I kidding I LOVE ice cream, Period.

Well I have to say that my current favorite is Half Baked. I loved the Brownie Batter ice cream when they had it and my all time favorite is no longer available, that was their
“Purple Passion Fruit Sorbet.” It was tart and fresh, healthy, and I’ve never tasted anything like it.
