The Clarus line from US Acrylics is a real breakthrough in beverageware!  This beverageware which is produced in the USA is made from triton copolyester which is durable, clear and totally safe (BPA Free).  Although it has the feel of acrylics, it has the look and appearance of glass.  In fact, until you pick up the Clarus’s products in your hands, you wouldn’t even realize it wasn’t glass.

This durable yet affordable beverageware is perfect for someone like me.  I have three kids (ages 5,3,1) who have broken more glasses than I care to count, but I never buy acrylic or plastic beverageware for two reasons. First I don’t like the look of them.  I’d rather deal with broken glass every so often than serve my guests in plastic cups.  Secondly, without knowing something is made free from harmful chemicals like BPA, I don’t have any interest in taking the chance.  From the time my kids were born I only used glass bottles and plastic items items that were guaranteed  BPA free.  Well, now I can have the assurance that the acrylic is safe (and durable) with the appearance of glass.  Clarus has made my beverageware issues a thing of the past!

I have now used and washed eight of these cups (4 of the 14oz Luxe Cups and 4 of the 18oz Luxe Cups) in addition to the Prism 64 oz pitcher.  I have put all three in the dishwasher and have also washed them by hand.  I am happy to report that all still look brand new.  My kids have also already dropped the cups from on top of the kitchen table and there are no breaks or cracks either.  I am really excited to have found the Clarus line!
