If you’ve been with me a while, you definitely remember Sew Posh Designs from our most popular Giveaways of the Tori Ebony and Ivory Wristlet this past summer.  If you’re new, let me introduce her. The creative fashionista and designer behind Sew Posh Designs, Debbie, has been doing hand embroidery and sewing since she was very young.  While her daughter was young she discovered hand smocking, heirloom sewing and doll making, and some of her creations have even been published in a Smocking and Heirloom Magazine.  Debbie’s first business was selling hair bows and beaded socks that she initially made for her young daughter since she was unable to find fancy accessories that would go with her outfits.  Once her daughter outgrew these types of outfits, she began looking for another creative outlet.  Sew Posh Designs was born!

With all of these fabulous bags to choose from you might ask what drew me to the Justine Chocolove Paisley Pleated Wristlet/Clutch.  I’ll tell you!  First, it’s in the name; I love that the bag is so versatile!  With the strap on you can use it as a wristlet and carry your essentials.  The bag is 6 (h) x 10 1/2 (widest point) x 1 1/2 (d) and the perfect size for my wallet, cell phone, keys, and makeup.  I’ve found that the larger my bag the more like a black hole it becomes, and besides that I’ve had 6 straight years of diaper bags, and these smaller bags are giving my back a break!  I also love that fact that if you take off the removable strap the bag makes a fabulous clutch!  I made a conscious decision to choose a fabric that was not black and white (although some of the fantastic styles in those colors made it difficult), but i choose this to match some chocolate leather boots I bought last season.  the pleated design gives an extra “something” to the bag, and inside you’ll find two pockets perfect for keeping your essentials organized.  When I received the bag and took it on a test run, a friend asked it it was a designer label.  I replied, of course it was!
