Vedette Shapewear Giveaway

 

Since 1979, Vedette has specialized themselves in designing and creating women’s shapewear. Vedette is well known for its Firm Control Collection by using advanced latex technology into its shapewear. Their designers have developed the most complete line of shapewear, waist cinchers, full body shapers, derriere enhancers and compression garments that provide you with the comfort and support you need on a daily basis or just for a special occasion. Vedette has grown to become one of the most well respected shapewear brands in the industry.

I have tried a variety of shapewear over the last five years and one thing I can say with absolute certainty is that all shapewear is not created equal. I have owned previous items that do an okay job at smoothing, but not really slimming my mid-section. Others may have initially slimmed, but over time the fabric lost it’s hold and slimming capabilities. I could tell, as soon as I received my selection from Vedette, that neither of these problems would be occurring this time.

I decided on the Juliane in black, and aside from the promise of being a waist cincher and enhancing an hour glass shape, it’s lace design and overall detail would absolutely allow this piece to double as lingerie (as would many of the Vedette products). The Juliane was described as an underbust corset with lace finish which was made of Cotton/Spandex/Latex/Nylon. It has a special powernet fabric and latex front that slims your stomach while shaping your waist and back. It has a hook-and-eye front closure which I prefer (as I was able to get into it without assistance).

So, if you’re like me, and your body is still in “winter condition,” fear not! With Vedette Shapewear you’ll still be able to get into that Spring Dress you’ve been dying to wear. Once I put on my Juliane corset I was able to wear one of my favorite dresses and feel fabulous about it, but more importantly I could still sit, move and breath in it is as well! For review purposes I’ve washed and worn the item several times and also still retains both its high quality look and feel and has not lost any of its dual action waist cinching capabilities. I know this piece will last for years to come, and now that I know first hand about the quality, look and feel of Vedette along with its (let’s be honest) miraculous shaping capabilities I plan on purchasing at least one more item in white for some other dresses I’d love to wear with confidence! I found my item was true to size although if you’re on the fence I’d say go larger- these are snug (to say the least).
