What to Expect the Second Year
What to Expect the Second Year
by Heidi Murkoff
When I was pregnant with my oldest child, my most trusted maternity book (aside from the Girlfriends Guide) was “What to Expect when you’re Expecting.” I turned to this book countless times not only through my first, but also second and third pregnancies. Every pregnancy, just like every child, was different. There were countless times when this book either gave me reassurance or just flat relief that what I was experiencing was “normal” and also armed me with information and questions to ask my doctor. I’ve heard friends call this the “Pregnancy Bible.” As many times as I turned to its pages, I’d have to agree.
Next there was the “What to Expect the First Year” which again was a book I ran to countless times. Was my child progressing normally? What was this behavior? What milestones can I expect and when? Well, just in time for my third time around as a mother of a toddler, I have “What to Expect the Second Year.” It doesn’t matter if you are a first time toddler parent, or you’re a Duggar and this is your 19th time around, you’ll want this book…no, you’ll need this book.
“What to Expect the Second Year” carries much of the same trusted information as in the other “What to Expect” books. You’ll find easily accessible and ready to access information on milestones, behaviors, feeding, sleeping, health and safety, tantrums, discipline and more. The book is relevant, helpful, and even reassuring. This is a must have for any parent of a toddler.
You can purchase your copy here, find “What to Expect’ series on Facebook, Follow the author on Twitter, and visit the What to Expect website for even more information and interviews with the author herself.
