Caden Lane’s Luxe Pink Duvet for Girls

My daughter, being very advanced for her age, is already nearing the end of her time in her crib.  I have been on a quest to find bedding for her “big girl” bed which I’m certain she will be in by the fall.  After years of dump trucks and dinosaurs, I am truly loving shopping for a little girl, so upon discovering the Caden Lane website, I was in heaven!

I was immediately drawn to the Modern Vintage Collection but had to remind myself that I’m trying to break out of my “vintage obsession.”  I loved the Classic Collection they also offer, but absolutely fell in love with the Luxe Pink Bedding Duvet.

I ordered the Luxe Pink Duvet (Twin), and was pleasantly surprised at the speed of the free shipping (see details on their website).  The twin size duvet measures approximately 88″ X 70″ and is made of 100% cotton.  It is machine washable, an absolute must for any child’s bedding, and can also be put in the dryer (low) and ironed if needed.  The Luxe Pink Duvet is reversible too, and I can’t decide which side will face “up” first.  One side is pink with beautiful white swirls and several colors of polka dots, and the other side is a pink pinstripe with several shades of pink, black and white.  The outer edges of the duvet are adorned with a fabulous black silky ruffle. My daughter was there when I opened the package, and actually cried when I took the duvet away from her. She had been laying on it, rubbing the silky frilly edging for about ten minutes!

I will definitely be shopping at Caden Lane again in the near future. They also offer sheet sets, blankets, shams, and throw pillows in not only the Luxe Collection but also the Classic and Modern Vintage Collections as well.  They also offer sheet sets and duvets for boys as well as girls.  If only I had found this website sooner my boys might be sleeping in style just as my daughter soon will be!
