L’il Critters Omega-3 Gummy Fish Vitamins
L’il Critters Omega-3 Gummy Fish Vitamins
My children are known to not always eat the healthiest, most well balanced meals. I have always made the attempt to have my kids eat the right kinds of foods, but their pallets seem more geared towards chicken (particularly in nugget form), cheese (only when accompanied by macaroni), or fruit (when covered in chocolate or artificially flavored in a chewy snack). So what’s a concerned mother to do? Do I force feed my children with the vitamins and minerals that I think they need to be healthy?
Well, there is a simpler solution thanks to L’il Critters. I was, in fact, delighted to be contacted by L’il Critters who is a trusted brand in our house already. My children already take the L’il Critters Vites (their multivitamin) and L’il Critters Immune C (vitamin C plus zinc and Echinacea), and were recently asked to try the new and improved L’il Critters Omega-3 Gummy Fish Vitamins. This was a supplement that I had tried to give my kids before, but they really disliked the taste. To be honest, the old formula had a potent enough scent that was detectable as soon as the bottle was open, and I cannot imagine that the taste would have been appealing to many people, let alone picky children. However, my children’s diet definitely lacked the Omega-3′s commonly found in foods like salmon, walnuts and spinach.
As I mentioned L’il Critters Omega-3 Gummy Fish Vitamins have recently been reformulated, and now have a much better (smell) and taste. My children eyed me cautiously as I placed their new L’il Critters Omega-3 Gummy Fish Vitamins in front of them, but one taste and they were hooked…and I was relieved! For those of you who don’t know, Omega- 3′s are the “good fats” that have been proven to “reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke while helping to reduce symptoms of hypertension, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), joint pain and other rheumatoid problems, as well as certain skin ailments. Some research has even shown that omega-3s can boost the immune system and help protect us from an array of illnesses including Alzheimer’s disease.” Read more at Web-MD about good & bad fats here.
So now, instead of battling with my kids over foods they hate, I can still try to introduce healthy fruits and veggies while hoping their pallets mature as they do, and in the mean time, rest assured I am giving them all the vitamins, minerals, and even “good fats” that they need with L’il Critters.
