Affordable Scarves- The Hannah Super Scarf

Now that I am a mother of three, I am not able to be quite as free with spending money as I used to be.  For example, it was not uncommon that b.c. (before children) you might find me shopping for a new fall and winter coat for myself.  I often changed jackets yearly or had more than one I liked to wear.  Now, I have to outfit my kids with new coats, not because they care about the latest fashions, but because they have outgrown yet another item of clothing.  So what’s a former diva trying to reclaim her fabulosity to do?  Improvise.

Finding a store like Affordable Scarves is like my own version of being a kid in a candy store.  The selection is so vast that there is something for everyone.  They have a wide selection of fabrics, patterns, colors, styles and here’s the kicker, for super low, affordable prices!  So instead of buying a new jacket, I’ll be buying several scarves to change out with the two coats I primarily wear in colder weather. I’ll make the old coats look and feel new with a variety of some of my favorite accessories, scarves!

I chose the Hannah Super Scarf in red which I’ll be wearing with my white (yes, I dare to wear white) wool pea coat from Victoria’s Secret.  It arrived quickly from Affordable Scarves and I knew I made the right choice as soon as I reached in the box to remove the scarf.  The fabric was so soft and plush that now I’m actually hoping it gets cold enough for me to wear it soon.  It’s also extra wide and long, and if I wanted to, could use it as a wrap.  This scarf also comes in black, brown, purple, and dark gray. Best of all, it’s priced right now (during the 15% off fall sale) at $16.96 and the regular price is only $19.95!  I may just get another in black as well!

I know for sure I’m going to be purchasing some additional (affordable!) scarves, and here are some of my other favorites: The Isabelle Ombre Scarf, The Abigail Crinkle Pashmina, and the Pam Leopard Scarf.

The last photo pictured above is one of the “Infinity” scarves sold at Affordable Scarves. At first, I was hesitant about ordering one because I wasn’t exactly sure the way you are supposed to wear it.  However, they even have a quick video with quick tips on the different ways to wear certain scarves.  You can check out the Affordable Style Channel’s video’s on YouTube.

Did I mention there are a variety of stores in the Affordable Style Network?  After you’ve picked up some of the hottest, most affordable scarves available, be sure to check out other stores like Handbag Heaven (bags $15-75), Sunglass Warehouse (all under $20), or Silver Treats (fashionable, affordable jewelry!).  You can also check out more about the Affordable Style network and all of their stores on their website http://www.affordablestyle.com/, and check out Affordable Scarves on Twitter (@AffordScarves) or on Facebook.
