The Cindy Tote

After trying my first Thirty-One bag, a thermal lunch tote, around Christmas, I was so excited when Mary Wilson offered to let me try one of Thirty-One Gift’s best selling bags, the Cindy Tote.  Once I received my Cindy Tote, which I’ve been using daily for about two months, it wasn’t hard to see why it’s a top seller.

Based on the larger size of the bag and it’s obvious multiple uses, I chose the Onyx Medallion fabric (because of my obsession with black and white and it’s overall classic and chic look).  The bag itself would work perfectly for an overnight trip, a beach bag, pool bag, workout bag, diaper bag, as a “brief case” and more!  I’ve been using this as my “brief case” and it easily fits and carries my laptop, my planner, the current book I’m reading, my coupon folder, my laptop accessories, and whatever else I’m “toting” around for the day.  I gave up my personal work space and desk so the kids could have a computer area and I wouldn’t have to worry about them breaking, coloring, or generally destroying any of my items.  With no other available work space, this Mama has gone mobile.  Although I have a plethora of briefcases from my days as a member of the corporate community, I feel silly carrying around a leather briefcase.  If I have to take a day trip I feel even sillier carrying it around out of the house.  They also do not provide enough space for all of my daily necessities.  The Cindy Tote has given me a fabulous alternative!

The bag, like all the Thirty-One products, is built to last.  This bag has been stuffed, tossed, carried and dragged (thanks, kids!) and it is still in perfect condition.  The straps are comfortable and making the tote easy to carry.  The bottom of the bag allows you to easily balance it upright, and is as durable as the straps not showing any wear from daily use.  There are also two external pockets which I use for my battery pack and wireless mouse, but have also proven handy for sippy cups and my cell phone.  The interior is just as chic as the outside of the bag, is also built to last and there is also an interior zippered pocket perfect for keys, money, etc.

Having three kids and having used this bag for an overnight trip, my daily “brief case” and a diaper bag, I have already had to spot clean the bag too.  It was easy to remove the juice and goldfish paste from the outside of the bag with a little soap and water.  Overall, this bag has been perfect for me and allowed me to go mobile with ease!
