The Creepiest Part of Parenting

I’m not sure what happens after the sun slips below the horizon and we tuck our children into their beds.

During the day I find myself wondering how even a solitary child can make so much noise as they move around, but at night they go from sounding like a herd of elephants to muted ninjas.

And I know I’ve said it before, but opening your eyes to find a kid standing in total darkness, silently staring at your face while you sleep, is (still) by far the creepiest part of parenting.

Oh, hi there!

Somewhere between love and madness lies…Motherhood.

I’m a 30 something Mom to three small children, and I’m the first to admit that it’s not all Hallmark Moments. Celebrating all that being a stay at home, sleep deprived, non-exercising, carb-eating, wine-loving, married, 30-something has to offer. Looking at the lighter side of life and rocking what I’ve got left.
