I’d love to tell you that as a mother I always set a good example, but sometimes there’s just more fun in the follies.
So if you’re out looking for some parental inspiration or need a little motherly motivation, you might want to skip this post. On the other hand, if you need something to smile about and would rather be laughing than rocking back and forth in the corner crying, read on.
I bring you a (Un)motivational Posters for Parents!
1. Expectations, it’s okay to have them, but make sure you’re setting them in the right place.

2. Way, way overrated.

3. Poop is still poop, even when it’s imaginary, if you ask me.

4. If it’s a suitable choice for the most important meal of the day, well then Bon Appétit! Dinner is served.

5. You are no fun. You are never done. Rinse and spin; I’ll never win. Dark and light, a housewife’s plight, you agitate! Oh, how I hate the laundry! – A Poem by me about how much I hate the $@#% laundry.

Inspiration can be hard to find, but also parenting would be impossible without a sense of humor. I’ll be adding to this list right after I serve some cereal for dinner and finish up that laundry…
Where do you find inspiration? Or maybe a better question, or one that I’d be more interested to hear the answer to, who are your favorite funny writers? Leave me a comment, I’m always looking for a good laugh!
