Blue Bunny Ice Cream and Frozen Treats

Blue Bunny® Ice Cream contacted me to try some of their newest ice cream flavors and some of their latest and greatest frozen treats, so how could I say no? Blue Bunny® sent me several different items right to my door (thank God for dry ice!). As my kids and I opened the package when it arrived, I’m pretty sure they thought that we had hit the lottery. Then we started taste testing and I knew we sort of did.

First up was the Champ! Mini Swirls Ice Cream Cones. These delicious mini sundae cones feature a unique swirled shape. Between the look and the rich and creamy taste of the ice cream cone, you will feel like you’re having an ice cream parlor experience right in your kitchen.

Next up was the Mini Ice Cream Sandwiches. This classic ice cream dessert is now mini and available in a variety pack that contains eight mini vanilla sandwiches and eight mini chocolate sandwiches in one box. These were a great tasty treat for everyone, but my toddler particularly enjoyed the easy to hold mini sandwich. My other kids, bargained perhaps due to the small size, they should be allowed to have one chocolate and one vanilla. They’ve inherited my love for high quality ice cream and negotiations.

Maybe my personal favorite was the Chocolate and Salted Caramel Personals flavor. Personals offer 5.5 oz. of a truly single serving ice cream or frozen

yogurt goodness. The three new Personals flavors are: Cocoa Pistachio, Chocolate & Salted Caramel and Birthday Party. I loved the size (perfect for not sharing) and the rich chocolatey flavor of the ice cream. The salted caramel gave it a hint of that salt/sweet combo. Delicious!

Next up were the Chef Duff Goldman Flavors. Blue Bunny® has partnered with master cake baker and artist extraordinaire,

celebrity Chef Duff Goldman in the creation of four decadent combinations of ice cream and cake. Blue Bunny® sent two half gallons of his new flavors: One Red Carpet Red Velvet Cake and also the I Do! I Do! Wedding Cake. Having such an abundance of ice cream we solicited the assistance of some other friends and family with the taste testing. I have honestly never seen ice cream go so quickly. With actual chunks of cake in the ice cream, it takes the concept of cake and ice cream to a whole new level. In fact, someone mentioned, and several others agreed that next birthday we’re skipping buying a separate cake, and instead buying one of these delicious Blue Bunny® flavors and sticking some candles right in the ice cream!
