    We do a fake tree (way cheaper to just use the same one every year). In addition to their fabulous candles, Yankee sells a 3-pk of scented ornaments (they looks like the air fresheners you hang in your car, except they are shaped like snowmen & other holiday symbols). I buy a pack of tree-scented ornaments every year & hang them high up on the tree where the kids & dog can’t get to it & voila…it smells like Christmas in our house without the hassle of buying, maintaining & disposing of a real tree!
